Exhibition statement
The exhibition Temporary Coincident explores the complex interplay between time, existence, and
transformation, inspired by Martin Heidegger’s idea that artwork sets up a world and sets forth the Earth.
Through a variety of mediums—painting, installation, digital art, NFTs, photography, and ceramics—the
seven featured artists examine time as fluid, layered, and multidimensional. Each work creates dynamic
spaces that invite viewers to reflect on the fleeting and the timeless.
A Gentleman
I envisage a man existing, somewhere, somehow. Drifting. Aimless.
Maybe he simply doesn’t know what to do, so is just going with the flow. Perhaps he’s lying in bed, unwilling to get up and participate in the day, allowing life to pass him by. Or maybe he’s gone out for a walk, looking for a right direction. Is he trying to find himself or be found?
